NZIA Christchurch Vision

Dalman Architecture has been working as part of the Canterbury Architects Group on a vision for the central city post the February 22 earthquake.

A 43 page A3 size document was presented to the Christchurch City Council last month. It contains a framework and set of principles, as well as specific site designs for many areas in inner city Christchurch.

Dalman Architecture worked with well known Christchurch architect Peter Beaven on an area between Cathedral Square and the Avon River. The design outlines many urban design principles that could be used in other inner city areas as part of the rebuilding of Christchurch.
